Westlife star Brian McFadden has shared a hilarious video to his fans after he was stung on the face by a bee – and had a massive allergic reaction.

In the video posted to Instagram on Wednesday, the 42-year-old Irish singer is lying on a hospital bed with heavily swollen lips and eyes.

“Owning that look!!” the video is captioned.

“Free Botox and fillers!!!!!”

In the video he sings “Sexy And I Know It” by LMFAO through his swollen, puffy lips before pulling a ridiculous face.

The video attracted hundreds of comments.

Some fans sounded genuinely concerned, while others thought it was all a bit hilarious.

McFadden then posted a series of photos showing how his face gradually became more and more swollen.

“The time line of the sting to reaction. Still goin,” the post was captioned.

In the first photo, McFadden’s face looks a little red and puffy, but nothing too serious.

By the third photo, his lips are hugely swollen and misshapen.

By the time he gets to hospital, his whole face is badly swollen, so much so that one eye is half-closed.

“Oh maaaaaaate!!!” one person exclaimed.

“1st beer of the night to last beer,” joked another.

“What have I told you about getting lip fillers off of Amazon?” another wrote.

On Thursday morning, McFadden posted a follow-up photo after he’d left hospital.

His face is still looking a little swollen, but nowhere near as bad as before.

“My face is calming down again. Thanks for all your lovely messages,” he wrote, adding that he was ready to go and play at a charity golf tournament.
