Royal Family: Kate Middleton’s £42 anti-wrinkle serum that works ‘just like Botox’

Kate Middleton’s magic anti-wrinkle serum claims to work like Botox, with none of the injections. After her 40th birthday earlier this year, everyone had the same question, how does the Duchess of Cambridge keep herself looking so youthful?

For many celebrities the obvious choice is cosmetic surgery, particularly Botox, to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. But Kate gets her smooth and supple from a bottle instead of the needle injections, reportedly using Biotulin Supreme Skin Gel.

According to The Express, the 100% vegan product is also used by Michelle Obama who was recommended the product by Kate herself. The former First Lady’s makeup artist Carl Ray said: “Michelle Obama has been using this organic Botox gel regularly on the recommendation of Kate Middleton.”

It’s effects have been compared to getting Botox

Carl went on to reveal how “the effect is unbelievable” when it comes to “erasing wrinkles.” Kate’s hidden weapon contains spilanthol, a biological local anesthetic said to work by reducing muscle contractions and relaxing your features.

The German company Biotulin retail the serum at 49.99€ which is roughly £42, saying that “unlike traditional Botox, which is an injectable, to use Biotulin all you need is to massage a drop of the gel into your face and neck.” It can also be bought on Amazon, where it has a rating of 4 out of 5 stars, and mixed reviews.

One gave high praise to the gel, writing: “This is a good quality, excellent product and I will be re ordering.” But another didn’t see the royal hype, stating: “Used this several times and it makes no difference whatsoever! Waste of money!”
