Holly Willoughby admits to feeling ‘wobbly’ during botox segment

Phillip Schofield issued a warning to This Morning viewers today as a crew member was injected with botox live on air.

Co-host Holly Willoughby admitted that she feared that she could faint while the procedure took place, with colleagues ensuring that there was a chair nearby just in case.

They were joined by a medical professional as crew member Fleur, who works in the ITV show’s green room, laid down on on a treatment chair.

Addressing lunch break tweakments, Phil said: “There is a warning for anyone here with a needle phobia – we will be showing botox being injected. But we won’t be having any close-ups and we’ll cut wide. “

“I might need to walk away because this is making me feel slightly wobbly,” Holly admitted.

Phil quipped: “Yeah, so I’m keeping an eye on you in case you go.”

“It’s taken me a bit by surprise,” she confessed. “I feel a little wobbly.

Her co-host then asked the camera to spin around and show what was going on behind the screens.

“Just in case Holly does feel a little bit woozy there are two stools ready to be brought in,” he said.

“Oh no, I’m fine,” she insisted. “I’ll be fine”.

She added that she just “didn’t want to flash [her] knickers” if she keeled over.

Moving over to Fleur, they asked how she was doing.

“Yep I’m alright,” she said, saying that she was “not at all” nervous.

The cosmetic medical professional explained that they had done a consultation beforehand and had cleaned her face.

“It takes between two and 14 days for injection to kick in,” she said.

Quizzed on why she wanted the botox done, Fleur said: “It makes you feel a bit better.”

Asked how the injection felt, she replied: “I find the dentist worse than that!”
