Three months ago, Sonja Morgan debuted her “refreshed” post-facelift look on Instagram, crediting New York facial plastic surgeon Andrew Jacono, MD for the procedure. What surprised us the most was not her in-depth honesty of the hows and whys behind her surgery, but how smooth and beautiful her skin looked afterwards.

According to Page Six, the Real Housewives of New York star is not finished with her plastic surgery journey, as she recently sought New York plastic surgeon Ramtin Kassir, MD for a small post-procedure tweak. Although she was pleased with the outcome of her deep-plane facelift, Morgan said that she found that her nose became more prominent after her other facial features were smoothed to perfection.

The solution: a nonsurgical rhinoplasty, which consists of using hyaluronic acid fillers to temporarily reshape the nose. But, as Page Six reports, this isn’t anything new for Morgan; she’s been getting the noninvasive procedure for over a decade—except, this time she felt a touch-up was absolutely necessary.

“Sonja decided to do a nonsurgical rhinoplasty because she’s always busy, always filming and she doesn’t have the down time for a rhinoplasty,” Dr. Kassir exclusively told us. “A nonsurgical rhinoplasty can literally be done in under 15 minutes with no pain, no downtime, no recovery, and you can resume your activities immediately and get fantastic results.”

As New York facial plastic surgeon Edward S. Kwak, MD points out, the option “works well if adding volume to the nose in specific areas would lead to aesthetic improvements. An injectable rhinoplasty can be a potentially good temporary solution to specific minor cosmetic irregularities, such as blending in a dorsal hump (small bump on the nose), straightening a nose, depressions on the nasal bridge, or to lift a tip.”

However, Dr. Kwak warns that, “noses that require significant reduction in size and volume are typically not good candidates for injectable rhinoplasties.”

Whether you’re the right candidate or not, Palo Alto, CA plastic surgeon Sachin S. Parikh, MD stresses that this procedure “can be dangerous if you don’t go to a board-certified doctor,” adding that the most important thing you can do is your homework.

In Morgan’s case, she happened to be perfect for this procedure and the results are nothing short of spectacular.
