Because the skin on your face is very sensitive, facial psoriasis needs to be treated carefully. Your doctor may choose one of the following treatments for your condition:
Corticosteroids ointment, lotion, or cream.
Vitamin D analogues.
Calcineurin inhibitors.
Retinoids.
Phototherapy
Dithranol.
Tablets, capsules and injections treatments.
Be sure these medical treatments are ordered and supervised by a legal dermatologist. Because some of these treatments may thin the skin and some may affect other organ functions in the patient’s body.
