A WOMAN has revealed how she is often mistaken for her daughter’s sister by strangers.
Glamorous Deana Clark, 50, is often confused as her daughters’ Falon, 27 and Kara Murray, 29, sister by passer-by’s.
The laser technician, who lives in Florida, attributes a number of factors to her youthful look.
Deana says a mixture of drinking water, ten-day cleanses, aloe vera skincare and Botox were the keys to looking young.
She said: “I have always been a firm believer that it all starts from inside so I take supplements and eat well.
“Water is very important and I drink alcohol within moderation.
“My daughters definitely keep me young too – we are very close.
“We all share everything from makeup to shoes to clothes.”
The trio enjoys time together by travelling the world, scuba diving and drinking beer.
However, Deana states it’s not her goal to try and look like her daughters.
She explained: “It has been a lot of hard work raising daughters so it does make me feel good that people think I look young enough to be their sister.
“However, I don’t try and look like them.
“They are my best friends but I am still their mum.”
When out in public, strangers are in shock when they discover Deana is their mum, not sister.
She adds: “The girls think it is funny when people make this mistake.
“It is definitely flattering.”
The former model admits to having Botox every three months to prevent wrinkles.
She also uses aloe vera based skin products and participates in a ten day cleanse once a year which involves eliminating meat, alcohol, drinking only juice for six days and salad for four.
Deana adds: “Less is more when it comes to skincare.
“I used aloe vera based products as natural treatments are much better.
“I also use arnica for anti-inflammatory purposes rather than take medication.
“The least amount of toxins, the better.
“I put aloe vera water on my hair and skin as it helps prevent dryness.
“It definitely helps keep me younger.”
The trio are set to launch their very own aloe vera skincare range called BeautySmart Skin Care.
She adds: “It is amazing being able to work with the girls too.
“We are closer than ever and passionate about skin.
“I have recently decided to ditch hair dye so this may make it obvious that I am their mother, not sister.
“But I don’t mind as I love embracing my natural hair.”
