Gwyneth Paltrow’s ‘keep it simple’ beauty regime could be how she looks so good at 48

A focus on nutrition

Paltrow debunked one of life’s big mysteries in her Goop Lab Netflix series which aired last year. She is, in fact, not vegan, as ‘many people assume I am,’ she said in the show. Paltrow wrote on goop.com that this year she wants to “do a bone broth cleanse, work on healing leaky gut, and eat more greens, all of which are good for skin. Somehow, through this COVID autumn, I’ve managed to over index on meat, potatoes, and pasta.” Bone broth is a clear, protein rich liquid obtained by boiling meat and bones in water, and is often praised for its nutritional benefits. Not one for vegans, then.

A sculpt, not bulk, workout

She told Shape magazine in June last year that during lockdown “I try to do exercises every day for my back and neck because of all the Zoom calls I’m on. My husband, Brad, and I take a walk at least three or four times a week. And I’ve been doing a lot of online classes: Tracy Anderson, the Class by Taryn Toomey, Bulldog Yoga, CorePower Yoga.”  As well as walking throughout lockdown, Paltrow credits dynamic online yoga classes that focus on the body-sculpting power of yoga.  Keeping it simple, Hollywood-style.
