Bringing IV therapy to the comfort of your own home, Iron IV serves the greater St. George area with individualized care and convenience to help people function at an optimal level. Clients use vitamin infusions to boost their athletic performance, accelerate recovery from illness, improve their mental health and rejuvenate their overall well-being.

“IVs aren’t just for treating sickness in a hospital setting,” owner Kristi Day said. “There are so many benefits to vitamin therapy that can help you physically, mentally and emotionally.”

Day and her business partner, Juli Nield, launched Iron IV this summer. Both had tried vitamin infusions – Day before taking a family vacation to Hawaii with a new baby and Nield prior to a lengthy hiking trip to the Grand Canyon – and were amazed by how refreshed and energetic they felt. As registered nurses with nearly 30 years of combined experience, they set out to educate the Southern Utah community about the health benefits of IV therapy.

“Nurses understand the value of hydrating your body with electrolytes,” Day said. “It’s all about prevention.”

The Shield, an infusion that combines electrolytes, vitamin C and vitamin B12 with zinc, glutathione and a high dose of selenium, helps boost immunity. It’s especially helpful before travel and during cold and flu season, Day said. Myers’ Cocktail, a high-dose infusion of electrolytes, magnesium, zinc, glutathione and seven different vitamins, is proven to improve overall function and well-being.

Many clients seek out the anti-aging benefits of IV therapy. The Royal Glow infusion, featuring biotin, zinc, vitamin C and a high dose of glutathione, enriches skin, hair and nails for a more youthful, radiant look. Fit Freak helps break down fat and boost metabolism with a blend of electrolytes, amino acids, taurine and B-complex vitamins, plus an injection of Lipo-B.

“Our drips are based on research on increasing athletic performance, preventing sickness, reducing inflammation and more,” Day said.

The benefits of IV therapy extend beyond the physical, however. Infusions with a high dose of magnesium can improve sleep and reduce stress, while vitamin D helps fight depression and anxiety by elevating mood. Day said vitamin D injections have become one of their most popular services.

“So many people are deficient in vitamin D,” she added. “You’d think that in St. George we wouldn’t have an issue with all this sun, but we don’t get these vitamins as easily as we used to because of all the junk in our food.”

Iron IV also has incorporated Botox injections and ketamine infusion therapy into its menu of services. While many clients enjoy the anti-aging properties of Botox, Day said it’s FDA-approved for migraine prevention as well. Ketamine can be used to combat both mental health disorders, including clinical depression, anxiety and OCD, and chronic pain conditions such as neuropathy, fibromyalgia and complex regional pain syndrome.

Along with infusions and injections, they perform lab tests to help identify nutritional deficiencies. Clients can work with a member of the Iron IV team to create a personalized treatment plan based on the results of their thyroid analysis, metabolic screening, hormone panel and more.

Millions of Americans buy over-the-counter vitamins and supplements in a quest for better health, but oral consumption is far less effective than IV infusion. At most, the body will absorb 30% of nutrients taken by mouth. Iron IV provides 100% absorption of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants for maximum benefit.

Iron IV is available seven days a week by appointment only. The service is fully mobile and will visit clients at home, work or wherever – and whenever – is most convenient. Every infusion is administered by trained medical professionals.

“It’s a very quick and easy process,” Day said. “You don’t know what you’re missing until you try it.”
