Danielle Lloyd has told of her eye-lift surgery and a second lift on her jawline – that she kept a secret from husband Michael.
The model, 37, told she’d sought out the procedure after seeing “gorgeous young girls” on Instagram.
Revealing that the prospect of turning 40 “worries” her, Danielle said: “I want to look my best, and this procedure prevents things like jowls and lines, so I thought, ‘Prevention is better than cure!’
“I know I’m a little bit obsessed but it makes me feel better.”
But Michael and her eldest son Archie, 11, weren’t best pleased, she told Closer magazine.
“Michael just thought I was going out to get a beauty treatment, like getting my eyelashes done or something,” she continued.
She added that Michael was “furious”, telling her she’s beautiful without the procedure, but that it’s made her feel more confident.
And she sat Archie down to explain to him that she’d had it done to make her feel “happier” – which the young lad had understood.
Danielle shares Archie, Harry, ten, and George, eight, with footballer ex-husband Jamie O’Hara.
She also has Ronnie, four, with Michael.
Danielle’s always been open about her cosmetic treatments.
She told earlier this year that Michael had “put his foot down” over plastic surgery, demanding she stop seeking out enhancements.
The month before she displayed the stunning results of a nose job she had done by doctors in Turkey.
The rhinoplasty was the latest in a string of operations after the year before vowing to give up going under the knife for good.
Danielle and Michael tied the knot in April in a sun-drenched Dubai ceremony.
Meanwhile, 2020 saw her give her unfiltered verdict on the UK government after she and Michael were forced to quarantine upon returning from Spain in July.
She told The Mirror that they never would have travelled if they knew returning would entail being cooped up indoors.
Her rep said: “Danielle is devastated by the government’s announcement she would of never gone away if she would of know this was going to happen.
“She now has to self isolate for 14 days with her children and husband just as they thought they got their lives back.
“She has struggled mentally the last couple of weeks with the lockdown and this break was something much needed so this is a devastating blow.”
