She believes in approaching wellness or preventative health, with each person individually, and utilized conventional medicine with naturopathic medicine. She specializes in women’s health, and peri-menopausal issues including weight loss, but is very intuitive when it comes to sports injuries, diabetic management, nutrition, depression, and anxiety.

She also enjoys procedures such as trimming ingrown toenails, removal of simple cysts, closing minor lacerations, and is credentialed in joint injection and the administration of BOTOX for cosmetic and migraine prophylaxis.

Back in the early days of her academic career, Celeste worked in Labor and Delivery and the Newborn Nursery, after having obtained her initial nursing degree at Tallahassee Community College. She attended Florida State University for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner training (MSN) and recently became certified as a Certified Diabetic Educator (CDE). As a mother of 5 children, she also enjoys pediatrics, and at one time was even a LaLeche League Leader, helping her community in the art of breastfeeding.

FNPs maintain patient records, perform physical exams, order or perform diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, develop treatment plans, as well as treat acute and chronic illnesses, conditions, and injuries that fall under primary care.

On a more personal note, Celeste attributes her success to her true desire to heal people and to find the best way to do so. She is an avid swimmer and a voracious reader, and also enjoys kayaking, playing tennis, experimenting in the kitchen, paper crafting, and lazing around the pool.
