I’ve had sensitive skin pretty much my whole life, so finally nailing down a skin care routine that keeps my skin clear and hydrated has been a big accomplishment for me. And while I do test out a new product here and there, I tend to find myself coming back to the same few brands, if not the exact same products, time and time again.

Because now that I have a whole medicine cabinet full of products I love and that don’t make my skin freak out (see below), I’ve come to realize that my skin care regimen wouldn’t exist without a few key brands. I’ve been a fan of Summer Fridays ever since the brand first launched back in 2017. And while I’m currently making my way through a tube of their Lip Balm Butter, lately, I’ve been really impressed with their Super Amino Gel Cleanser. I started using this face wash last month and can truly say that it takes all of the dirt, oil and makeup off my face quickly. Plus, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight, dried out or covered in any lingering residue.

While $38 is admittedly pricey for a cleanser, you get a good amount of product in each bottle. Also, the clean and gentle ingredients justify the price for me.

I’ve been using Fresh’s Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Moisturizer during the day for almost a year now. I’ll be honest – I don’t know how I lived without it before. My skin can get really dry in the winter, so this product keeps my face hydrated and glowing. And while I don’t normally react well to any scented skin care, this moisturizer has a light rose fragrance and doesn’t break me out at all.

About once a week, I also use Fresh’s Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask. The mask has a slight cooling feeling and leaves my skin super soft and looking refreshed. I also just recently started using the brand’s eye cream, too!

I will be singing Drunk Elephant’s praises for the rest of my life. So many of their products are such major staples in my medicine cabinet (and in my shower) that I also buy them in travel sizes so I can bring them wherever I go.

While I’d recommend anything from the brand, Drunk Elephant’s Protini Polypeptide Cream and T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum are standouts for me. This moisturizer sinks into my skin like nothing else and is incredibly light while being so hydrating. Also, its packaging allows you to get every last drop out of the container. And the glycolic serum is what I attribute my clear skin to. I use it every single day and notice that whenever I miss a day, my pores look clogged, and I’m more prone to breakouts.

When it comes to well-known makeup brands’ skin care products, I’m always a bit apprehensive about trying them out. So while I’ve been a fan of Charlotte Tilbury’s iconic Pillow Talk lipstick for ages, I only gave her skin care a try recently. And to put it plainly, I’m very impressed.

Specifically, I’ve been using the Magic Cream Moisturizer as of late, and its rich consistency and non-greasy texture blew me away just after my first try. Since this cream is on the thicker side, I like to use it as my night cream. But it’s also great under makeup — it was developed by a makeup artist, after all!
